THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER
- QUEST GIVER
- THE RIFT
- 3 ERRANDS
THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER stands on THE RIFT and hands out 3 errands: TWO SHORT, THE GALE and THE BOY IN THE SAILOR SUIT.
Nothing can hurt them, and nothing gets to try — the horde is pushed back out of a 44 px ward around them, exactly as it is around the merchant. An errand you have to clear a pack off to accept is a pack, not an errand.
Walk within 70 px and they open the conversation themselves, once. A person with more than one thing to say opens on the whole list rather than handing them out one at a time.
One of three men who went out to trim a light in a gale in 1900 and were never found. He is still trimming it — the lantern has not gone out — and he is still two men short. He does not talk about the gale. He talks about the other two.
What they want
| ERRAND | ASKS | PAYS |
|---|---|---|
| TWO SHORT | 2 A KEEPER'S LAMPs brought back | 0.4 of a level, 110 coins, 1 rolled piece |
| THE GALE | 10 kills of UNRAVELER | 0.5 of a level, 130 coins, 1 rolled piece |
| THE BOY IN THE SAILOR SUIT | THOMAS delivered in one piece | 0.8 of a level, 200 coins, 2 rolled pieces |
What they say
Their own lines, covered until you ask for them.
On being spoken to
THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPERTHE LIGHT'S STILL LIT. THAT HALF OF THE JOB IS DONE. THE OTHER HALF I CANNOT DO ALONE. WILL YOU HEAR IT?
