FROST NOVA is a defense talent in the ARCHON tree, the one INTELLIGENCE pays for: a blast of cold off every blow that lands on you.
It is ALWAYS ON. There is nothing to press, nothing to aim, no mana and no cooldown — once the point is spent it is part of the hero, on every map, for the rest of that hero's life.
Every rank costs one INTELLIGENCE talent point, and a point is 10 points of INTELLIGENCE the player chose to spend. So carrying it at 5 means 50 chosen points of INTELLIGENCE that bought nothing else in the tree.
When struck, freeze the foes around you solid.

- A SPENT POINT IS PERMANENTa respec can move the stat points that earned it, but never below 10 × the ranks already spent in that tree — the talent is kept, and the INTELLIGENCE holding it up is locked in place.
