THE LONG NOON

THE LONG NOON, as it appears in Ada's Trail

THE LONG NOON does not live on BOOT HILL at all. It is dragged through a hellgate — the rifts the horde tears open once a rampage runs hot enough — and it fights at elite weight.

It shoots from 280 away and ducks behind cover between shots.

A duel begun on a world with no sunset, never called, still walking into high streets looking for somebody willing to stand at the other end of one. A park full of robots pretending to draw has been an insult to it for years.

BOOT HILL

It only reaches the board through a hellgate, which opens once the horde's rampage runs hot enough.

JESUS is the one rung that scales to the hero rather than to an authored number, so it has no fixed figure to state and is left out.

What to know

Its shot

It fires every 1.9s from up to 280 away, for 38 before your armor turns its share. Walls eat the shot and a jump clears it. Between shots it puts the nearest solid thing between you and it, and only steps back out as the reload runs down.

What it drops

A heavy hitter rather than a set piece: 5% more likely to drop at all and 7% better on the rarity roll when it does.
