OLYMPUS ENGINE
- MONSTER
- MARS
- HELLBORN
OLYMPUS ENGINE does not live on MARS at all. It is dragged through a hellgate — the rifts the horde tears open once a rampage runs hot enough — and it fights at elite weight.
It was mining this planet before the planet had a name. Olympus Mons is its exhaust port and the rock up there is still warm; GOODCO surveyed the site, took a core sample, and filed the result under geology.

Where you meet it
MARS
It only reaches the board through a hellgate, which opens once the horde's rampage runs hot enough.

What to know
- HOVERSHas no legs and never touches the floor — it drifts over it, casting its shadow down.
- HELLBORNComes through a rift, and is the one kill a rampage pays for instead of taxing.
- WHAT IT WAS CARRYINGNothing. It has no pockets, and never had wages — a kill pays in gear, not in coin.
- WHEN STRUCKIt throws sparks. A blow that overwhelms it bursts it into wire, cells and torn plate, and it smokes where it lands.
What it drops
A heavy hitter rather than a set piece: 5% more likely to drop at all and 6% better on the rarity roll when it does.
